Aromatherapy is in no way a replacement for clinical care, however it can be an excellent way to 'help your body help itself'.

Common niggles and ailments which aromatherapy can help with include:

Morning Sickness

Hyperemisis

Aches and Pains

Swollen feet

Tiredness

If you are currently seeing a health professional a letter will be provided to add to your maternity records or health notes so that your health professionals are aware of your visit.

** It is not recommended that you use aromatherapy in the home setting without great research, some essential oils are contraindicated through pregnancy or with certain medical conditions.

The use of alternative therapies is increasing in labour/birth.

There are a number of essential oils which work very well together to support relaxation and positive mood whilst also supporting effective contractions and progress.

Feedback on these blends of oil have been fantastic, however, I can not stress enough the importance of using an aromatherapist to create these blends for you who will take a full history and ensure their suitability.

Tiny Toes Bumps and Babies offers consultations in our relaxed and friendly office in Annfield Plain or remotely if required.
